For over 35 years, the family business SORG Rollstuhltechnik has stood for the development and manufacture of custom-fit, innovative and high-quality wheelchairs, standing devices and seat shell bases for children , young people and adults. Every wheelchair and every Standing device from SORG is individually manufactured to the exact dimensions and requirements of the user.
In the area of manual wheelchairs, we offer folding wheelchairs and seat shell bases as well as tiltable wheelchairs and active wheelchairs for all ages. Mobile standing devices for children and adolescents complete our range.
Children’s wheelchairs are particularly close to our hearts because children with disabilities need the opportunity to conquer their environment independently and establish social contacts just like their peers. Because this interaction is the basis for the entire child development. This is the only way that the neuronal networks in the brain can form in this early phase. So while non-impaired children learn to walk, children of the same age with limited mobility need an aid that enables them to have the necessary mobility as a substitute. We have therefore dedicated ourselves to perfect child care and early support and are the market leader in Germany as a manufacturer for children’s wheelchairs.
As a craftsman’s business, we attach great importance to the accuracy of fit of our wheelchairs and standing trainers. They fit the user exactly and are also adaptable. The high degree of customisability of our wheelchairs is based on the enormous vertical range of manufacture and a very wide range of equipment possibilities and options. We can implement the smallest wheelchair dimensions as well as user dimensions that go beyond normal care.
For everything else that we cannot supply despite our enormous range of equipment, the special construction department is at your disposal. Our dedicated and creative specialists for special construction understand “special” requests very well and are happy to develop solutions for you far beyond a standard supply. Since we have the complete production in our own hands, with the exception of a few bought-in parts, we can implement your individual solution quickly and uncomplicatedly directly in our company. The adaptive or active wheelchairs from SORG are available either as rigid frame wheelchairs or as folding wheelchairs. All SORG active wheelchairs can be easily and individually adapted to the user’s needs and therapy. We offer smallest children’s active wheelchairs (already for kids from 12 months) and adaptive wheelchairs for adolescents and up to high adulthood.
Many forms of therapy require the wheelchair to be tilted individually, which is why the tilt angle of our tiltable chairs can be adjusted very finely or even continuously.
